Maps
What are maps for?
A map shows the heroes where they are. Build one by painting rooms and corridors, or let the toolkit generate a dungeon or cave for you and then adjust it. Number the rooms with pins and link each pin to a story beat, an encounter, an NPC or loot. During play, place tokens for heroes and monsters, move them around, and use fog of war to reveal the map as the heroes explore. Maps belong to a campaign so the story and the places stay together.
